Each level is packed with hand-drawn elements, clever sound effects, and a few hints to help you find everything. Hidden Folks isn’t your typical find the hidden item game. The game sticks with the same MC Escher-style optical illusion buildings and paths, and many levels include two characters working as a team to reach the exit door. Monument Valley was a beautiful puzzle game and Monument Valley 2 builds on that with new and unique levels. The iPad version supports Split View and Slide Over, making it easy to quickly move bits and pieces of content between apps. It’s super handy for moving files around, storing text clips, and more. The app lets you drag and drop content into a sort of holding pen so you can get at it later without having to jump back to its original location. Yoink on the Mac is wonderfully useful, so I was really happy to see it come to the iPad. It supports the Files app, too, so it’s even easier to compress and uncompress files on your iPad.
Zipped solves that problem by making it drag-and-drop easy to compress files in the zip format. While the iPad can unzip, or uncompress, files, it doesn’t have a built-in way to compress them. If you’re looking for a powerful and flexible task manager at a reasonable price, Things 3 is available on Apple’s App Store for $9.99. Things 3 has proven popular thanks to its easy to use organization and search features, flexible task viewing options, and friendly interface.
TweetDeck is a free app in the Mac App Store. There are plenty of task manager apps to choose from, which means there’s a good chance at least one may fit the bill for you. It does lose a star for not including GIFs since that is such a crucial part of Twitter today. It’s a great app for people who want something a little more out of Twitter and is excellent for businesses users who need something more than the Twitter website and do not want to pay for a third-party Twitter app. Overall, the 2019 version of TweetDeck is getting 3/4 stars from me. Plus, Tweetbot has it in both their iOS and macOS versions, so it should be an easy fix for TweetDeck, given the fact that Tweetbot is a third-party app and not an official one made by Twitter. However, this is something that Twitter should fix in the name of continuity. On the bright side, the app does allow you to view GIFs and that they are played automatically in the app too, no need to click a play button of any kind when one comes across your timeline. It is a little annoying, but I guess the good part is that you can still do it. The only way to be able to do that in TweetDeck is to upload the GIF as an image. The only downside I have been able to find from this app is that it does have the GIF button like the Twitter app does in its app. The search function, which is one of Twitter’s best features, is on TweetDeck and it works the same way as in the regular Twitter app. This used to be a feature on third-party apps like Tweetbot and Twitterrific, but was pulled after a Twitter API change in August 2018. Streaming essentially means that users can have their timeline be constantly updating without having to pull up on the timeline to refresh it. This means that if you are a business and want a tweet to go out without having to write it in the moment, you can write it beforehand and schedule so that it can still go out even if you are not managing your account at the moment.Īnother cool feature of the app is that it is the only Twitter app in the Mac App Store that has streaming capabilities. Since TweetDeck is a service that some businesses use, TweetDeck, like I just mentioned, allows users the ability to schedule tweets. TweetDeck also gives you the ability to add more columns for things like trending, direct messages and scheduled tweets you have ready to go.
It breaks everything up into columns, which includes your tweets/timeline, mentions and your notifications, such as tweet likes and retweets. Where the app goes right is in its interface.
Just this week, TweetDeck’s Mac app was updated for the first time in three years! The new update included additions like a Dark Model, app crashes and various other improvements. It’s a Twitter app made by Twitter that is for the true Twitter power users, people who use the service often and tweet a lot throughout the day. In fact, it was one of the first apps ever released by Twitter and is sometimes known as a better version of the service. TweetDeck is an app that has been around for a very long time.
